Aerovek Staking Agency announces the launch of phase 2, an introduction to the first dual token rewards system.
Aerovek Aviation and Gnogen Studios alike have constantly been searching for ways to push the boundaries and think outside the box. In this spirit, we are thrilled to introduce the Aerovek Staking Agency (ASA); A new partnership between Aerovek Aviation and Gnogen Studios.
Our new, innovative staking pool aims to enhance the current benefits for delegators on the Elrond Network. Those who choose to stake with ASA will receive AERO tokens and exclusive Gnogen NFTs — in addition to the already lucrative EGLD rewards we have all come to know and love.
We believe this greatly incentivizes the way delegators are currently receiving rewards and will further drive the innovation in the space and create opportunities for businesses looking to expand into blockchain technology as a secondary revenue stream.
Phase 1:
After our first node went live, we were astonished by the amazing response of the passionate Elrond Community. The pool was at 99% capacity within the first 24 hours of release.
Due to the pool filling up so quickly, the Aerovek and Gnogen teams have withdrawn all personal and business funds to create more space for the community. We want to give this opportunity to as many people as possible.
With that said, a primary objective of ours is to maintain a very competitive EGLD rewards APR for our delegators. ASA will have more nodes ready to become active in the Elrond Delegation Queue in the coming months as more spots become available, and with those increased nodes, the APR should improve for all delegators. Limited space will become available for those waiting on October 14th, 2021, from the funds un-delegated by the teams. Currently, the pool has a maximum capacity of 6,000 EGLD.
Phase 2:
The Dual-Token Rewards System launches on October 15th, 2021. It will offer delegators Aerovek’s native token $AERO, as a secondary reward to run concurrently with standard EGLD rewards. Having secondary and tertiary staking rewards the way ASA is offering them, is a first in the industry for Proof of Stake. We have built a robust and competitive rewards model to compliment the best in class staking offered by the Elrond Network.
As a delegator, you will receive rewards at a ratio of 15:1. Meaning for every 1 EGLD a delegator earns in rewards, you will also receive 15 AERO tokens. We believe this will not only incentivize users to stake EGLD with the Aerovek Staking Agency, but perhaps also bring positive changes to the existing ways delegators are being rewarded.
(Phase 2 will also increase the maximum capacity of the pool to 7,000 EGLD, allowing for more members to join.)
Phase 3:
In addition to our Dual-Token Rewards System, Gnogen Studios will be issuing Aerovek exclusive NFTs to delegators from Gnogen Studios. These rare NFTs will not be sold by Gnogen and can only be obtained via staking in our pools.
As the NFT market continues its meteoric rise in valuation and adoption, we are proud to partner with Gnogen, and are excited to see what type of amazing NFTs their team will craft. The NFTs being revealed by Gnogen are of the highest quality, but they also tell amazing stories that we cannot wait to share with the community!
Gnogen will release a Aerovek x Gnogen comic mini-series in their unique comic style that is starting to make some noise within the Elrond NFT community. In order to help bootstrap this new partnership, they are hard at work to produce the highest quality of NFTs to be issued as rewards, exclusively to delegators of the Aerovek Staking Pool. There is no release date set as of now for the NFTs but stay tuned to upcoming announcements — they are coming soon.
